Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and NetSmiths Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17311406, registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU). They cover your use of the Dayception apps and this website.
The app
Dayception is a countdown and events app for Mac, iPad and iPhone. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it on your Apple devices in line with the App Store terms.
Pricing & purchases
Dayception is free to use for up to five countdowns. Dayception Pro unlocks unlimited countdowns and the full insights engine for a single one-time payment of £24.99 — there is no subscription. Until 31 December 2026, the same unlock is available as Dayception Founder for a one-time £14.99, which additionally includes an exclusive app icon and an in-app Founder badge; after that date the Founder offer is withdrawn from sale (existing Founders keep it). Purchases are processed and any refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.
Your content
Your countdowns, names, dates and notes are yours. We claim no ownership over them and, because they never reach our servers, we have no access to them.
Acceptable use
Please don't attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app in ways that break the law or the App Store guidelines.
Warranty & liability
Dayception is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we limit our liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app.
